We are glad to know you have less hip pain and your bed is better with it than without it. 4 in. gusset allows the fill to fully loft for supreme comfort for sink-right-in comfort. It is a good idea to fluff your topper and rotate it on your bed, side to side and from the top of the bed to the foot of the bed, since the topper tends to billow around you in use.

I thought I would be getting a high-quality item at this price, but no. I was surprised there are no elastic loops sewn to the corners to keep it in place. The material already was slightly pilled. It's extremely fluffy; my body weight would compress the loft, but my head wouldn't, so my head and pillow were always tilted at an odd angle. It's comfortable to lay on, but not to sleep on. Also, it's not machine washable, which is very odd for a bedding item. The marketing on this product is very good for what is essentially a very subpar item. The box it arrived in was extremely beat up as well, making me wonder if I received a used item sold to me as new. This was my first order from the Company Store and my last. The way this item was packaged and presented actually felt insulting, given that this item is ~$200. Cariloha knows how to produce a quality product and packages their sheets like a gift to yourself, and they're worth the price. I'm not convinced, after this experience, that anything from the Company Store is actually worth the prices they're charging. The box was huge and it was a pain to return, as well.

We love our down mattress topper. It’s providing good relief from shoulder joint pain at night (I am a side sleeper). We have a firm latex mattress for back support but my rotator cuffs were unhappy. Much better now!

A: Hi Casey. The Down Alternative Mattress Topper. You may put your mattress pad on first and sleep directly on the Topper using a cover or fitted sheet covering it. Or you may put your mattress pad over the top of the Topper. What every you prefer. It will be easier to rotate the Topper and shake it out as recommended, if used on top of the mattress pad. A: Hi Sue. Once you receive your Down Alternative Mattress Topper, it is a good idea to remove your topper from the packaging right away, and lay it out on the bed. The topper should fluff up to the full capacity within 24-48 hours. This product should not have any odor, you may only notice the newness of the fabric which will subside.
