A beautiful hand to the fabric, tightly woven with narrow dark blue stripes woven in, not printed on. Substantial, but not heavy. It was easy to put in the insert I already had, and looks so classic and neat on my bed! It will be fun to accessorize (there are matching shams to buy). It's so easy to wash and dry that I also might use it draped on my living room couch to protect against spills.

The fabric is substantial without being too heavy. Is prone to wrinkling if you don't take it out of the dryer right away, but will relax with time.
