Stiff and an odd color

I'm a bit disappointed in the sheer sandstone curtains for 2 reasons: the color is much more pink, almost mauve, than expected, and they are very stiff with a burlap sort of feel.

I was surprised to find that my order came with literally one singular curtain. Usually when I've ordered curtains in the past, they come as a set. One for each side of the same window. Especially didn't expect to only receive 1 curtain when the photos are advertising them with 2 curtains on each side of the window. It's a bit ridiculous and I'm definitely disappointed. Aside from that- the linen looks nice and is what I expected. Just one curtain short for a whole window.

I was hoping it would be a little more gold/neutral and less warm/orange. But they will still work in my room - the hue is most noticeable when the fabric is gathered. Just warning anyone who wants a very specific shade of Not White. I love that there is both a rod pocket and back tabs. That is why I chose these over other brands even though I wasn't sure about the color. I'm not a seamstress, so I can't speak much to the quality of workmanship, but I have not encountered any obvious flaws, no loose threads.
