I like the color and feel.of the throw. Sale price was good. But, weave is different than what I thought and cats have already snagged it in several places. If you don't have pets with nails, this is a fine throw.

I gifted this to a friend undergoing cancer treatment, per the suggestion of a friend who is a cancer survivor. Since receiving it, the friend undergoing tretment has used it daily for his naps. It's just warm enough to take the edge of the A/C when you're still and large enough as a throw for an average-size man. I did warn him about the snagging (per other reviews), but haven't heard that has been a problem. The fact that it is made with organic cotton is also a plus when you're dealing with cancer. It has made a much-appreciated gift.

A: Hi Joyce. The Organic Cotton Throw has the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification keeps you and your family safe from harmful substances. The aim of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer. The organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides and fertilizers. Finished or processed textile products sold in the U.S. that imply or leave the consumer to believe that the final product is certified organic must meet either the USDA organic regulations or GOTS. This certification would include any dyes used. Thank you for your inquiry.

Our throws (with the exception of our down and down alternative filled throws) are all approximately the same weight, about 2 lbs, actual weight.
