This beautiful white velvet quilt is an absolute dream. When it arrived, it was packaged in a protective zippered pouch that will be useful in storing it if I ever want to take it off of my bed! As I unpacked it, I was surprised by its weight and the softness of the velvet. The weight is just right—not too heavy, but enough to provide warmth and comfort throughout the night. One of the things I really like about this quilt is its generous proportions. It drapes nicely over the bed, providing ample coverage and a luxurious look. It's a perfect addition to my bedroom and has definitely elevated the feel of my space. It is homey and elegant at the same time. I also like the cotton backing on the back of the quilt. It is heavy but in the sense of a well made, good quality quilt and looks beautiful on the bed. So much so I will be buying another for my bed. It is soft and warm as well.
