WHAT DOES 275 GSM MEAN? DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH WARMTH?

A: Hi Abby. The Vintage Floral Garden Patchwork Quilt is a 275 GSM. GSM stands for grams per square meter, which refers to the weight of a fabric. In general, the higher a fabric's GSM, the thicker and more hard-wearing it's likely to be. For example, denim has a much higher GSM than chiffon. Midweight fabric with a GSM of 150-350 is the best all-rounder. Thank you for your inquiry.
